West Bengal News | Suvendu Adhikari Promises UCC In Bengal Within Six Months, Strict Laws To Follow
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has promised to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Bengal within six months, following the examples of Uttarakhand and Gujarat. He also said his government would bring stringent laws against what he described as "Love Jihad", "Land Jihad" and religious conversions after the UCC is implemented.
