Congress' Kharge Dials INDIA Bloc Leaders As Reports Of Lack Of Coordination In Protest Surface
Top Congress sources have played down concerns over coordination within the INDIA bloc, saying the party’s high command has spoken to leaders of major alliance partners. Rahul Gandhi reportedly spoke to Aditya Thackeray and requested that he come to Delhi, while Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge spoke to Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. Trinamool Congress leaders Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, along with RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, have reached the national capital. Sources said leaders who are not attending have their own reasons.
