It includes both permanent and temporary displays from over 140 artists throughout 90 of the stations, making it one of the world's biggest public art galleries. The stations have colourful painted walls and ceilings. Additionally, rustic arches and columns, adorned with mosaics, enhance the beauty of the Stockholm subway.

The rainbow art in the station is an homage to the nearby Olympic Stadium that hosted the 1912 games. The deep red walls are a tribute to the sociopolitical and environmental issues Sweden faced in the 1970s. The bright green plants evoke the wildlife of a jungle.
