Recently, a video of a woman preparing her dinner at 30,000 feet went viral on social media, but the internet was not impressed. The clip, shared on Instagram, shows the woman making an egg salad mid-flight. The text on the video read, "Making my own healthy dinner on a 10-hour flight because free will exists." She starts off by taking out ingredients, including soft-boiled egg, greens and salad dressing, from her bag. She mixes them all in a bowl, adds an avocado to it and enjoys it while sitting in her seat.
The side note read, "Because I hate plane food. Also, I swear the soft-boiled egg didn't smell, but I will take the judgment."

The reel went viral on Instagram, with several users criticising the woman for not following aeroplane etiquette.
One user wrote, "New fear unlocked: I get on a plane and the person next to me starts making an egg salad."

Another added, "Between the egg, the elbow jabbing into your neighbour, the salad shaking and the 'influencing' I am 100% annoyed and I'm not on the plane."
Someone commented, "Sorry, honey, but no. Eggs no. Multiple Tupperware containers. Assembling a salad on the plane. It's not your kitchen, it's a tiny shared public space in which we all just try to survive."

"Could you have brought something stinkier on a plane?" remarked a viewer.
A viewer said, "Eating hard-boiled eggs on a flight should be illegal."
