Watch: Flight Passengers Treated To Stunning Views Of Ladakh, Thanks To Delay In Landing

A delay in flight landing is a common occurrence. From late take-offs to problems due to turbulence, there are various reasons why you may not reach your destination on time. But not all delays are frustrating. A recent viral video showed how sometimes they can offer you an unexpected treat. Kushal Gandhi, a digital creator, posted a reel about what happened when the landing of his morning IndiGo flight from Delhi to Leh had to be delayed. Thanks to his window seat, it turned out that he had something special to look forward to.

In the clip, we can hear the pilot announcing the reason for the delay to the flight passengers. He says, "The parking bays at Leh are still occupied. So we are yet to commence our approach. I expect, from this point in time, another 25-30 minutes for landing. Thank you for your patience. Kindly appreciate that these delays are beyond our control." The vlogger then moved the camera to give us a glimpse of the view outside his window. It was nothing short of mesmerising. Snow-capped Himalayas stretched out in every direction as far as the eye could see. The mountains glistened in the sunlight, and it seemed like every peak was aglow. Some didn't have any snow, but they were still majestic. Sounds incredible, doesn't it? Take a look below:

In the caption, the vlogger explained, "I got lucky with a window seat, and just when I thought the journey was about to end... we couldn't land. Not once, but twice! The pilot circled above Ladakh for nearly 1 hour, giving us a surreal aerial tour. I was in awe, filming everything on my iPhone - hands down the most beautiful delay I've ever experienced."
