Is Sri Lanka the new Bali? Shenaz Treasury believes so. The actor-content creator turned the spotlight on the island nation, sharing some of her favorite places and experiences that make Sri Lanka an exciting destination for travelers. From its sun-kissed beaches and lush landscapes to charming towns, scenic spots, and vibrant local culture, Sri Lanka offers the kind of mix that has long made Bali a favorite among holidaymakers.
In her latest reel, Shenaz has shared glimpses from her recent trip to Sri Lanka. “Sri Lanka is the new Bali! But wayyy cheaper. And less crowded and pretentious. Also, there are more locals around, and the locals are warm and sweet, just like Bali locals,” she wrote in the caption.
She continued, “It's also clean! Yes, as an Indian we feel sad because India could also have been Bali, but sadly, civic sense, cleanliness, and safety are huge challenges.
“Also, open spaces are less, and honking, crowds, etc., make India a hard country for foreigners to visit. Sri Lanka has everything Bali has! Beaches, wellness, paddy fields, yoga, surfing, and more!”

According to Shenaz, Sri Lanka brings together the best of both worlds, with stunning beaches on one side and lush green paddy fields on the other. She explained that in Sri Lanka you will get to witness golden shores and turquoise waters to misty hills, dense forests, and sprawling tea plantations.
Highlighting the country's scenic beauty, Shehnaaz took her followers through some of Sri Lanka's most picturesque experiences. She described misty mountain mornings, balconies with swings, yoga overlooking the hills, and the iconic sight of a train crossing a bridge, calling the scene almost “like a movie.”
