Lucky Ali is living his best life. Music may be his calling, but the singer also nurtures a quiet, unwavering love for travel. At 66, he continues to take fans on virtual joyrides across India, one scenic Instagram update at a time. Last month, Lucky Ali found himself in the magical folds of Sikkim - a realm of mist-laced hills, gushing waterfalls, and age-old mountain trails. On June 21, he gave followers a window into his trek along the historic Old Silk Route, a serpentine stretch of road that once linked India and Tibet as part of an ancient trade network.
The route winds its way from Rongli through picture-perfect hamlets like Aritar and Lingtam, finally curling up to Zuluk. There, the land opens up to breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and sunrise-washed Kanchenjunga. In the photos, Lucky poses with friends and travel organizers, mist curling in the background and winding roads drawing curves into the hills-like nature sketching its own map.
