The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is set to launch the first-ever Bharat Gaurav tourist train to Nepal, offering travellers a curated spiritual and sightseeing experience across the neighbouring country. The special “Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra” will depart from Indore on June 12 and marks the first Bharat Gaurav train to operate beyond India's borders. Designed as a guided tourism package rather than a regular train service, the journey combines rail travel, hotel stays, sightseeing and meals into a single itinerary, making it an attractive option for pilgrims and leisure travellers alike.

Which Destinations Will The Train Cover?
The nine-nights and 10-days tour will take passengers through some of Nepal's most popular spiritual and tourist destinations. The itinerary includes visits to:
- Kathmandu
- Pashupatinath Temple
- Pokhara
- Chitwan National Park
- Manakamana Temple
According to IRCTC, the package also includes a ropeway ride to Manakamana Temple and a jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park.

Passengers can board the Bharat Gaurav train from multiple stations across Madhya Pradesh, including:
- Indore
- Ujjain
- Shujalpur
- Sehore
- Bhopal
- Itarsi
- Narsinghpur
- Jabalpur
- Katni
- Satna
The Deluxe AC tourist train will feature 14 coaches with First AC, Second AC and Third AC accommodation categories. IRCTC has also arranged two restaurant coaches onboard for dining facilities during the journey.

The tour package has been divided into three categories:
- Third AC Comfort: Rs 62,710 per person
- Second AC Deluxe: Rs 76,550 per person
- First AC Superior: Rs 90,400 per person
