- India expands Visa-on-Arrival for UAE nationals to Kochi, Calicut, and Ahmedabad airports
- Visa-on-Arrival now available at nine Indian airports including Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru
- Eligibility requires prior Indian visa, valid passport, and visit under 60 days for specific purposes
India has further simplified travel for visitors from the United Arab Emirates, a key tourism and business market, by expanding its Visa-on-Arrival (VoA) facility to three additional airports. For UAE travellers, this means smoother entry, fewer formalities, and more flexibility when planning leisure, medical or business trips across India's most visited cities. As tourism and air connectivity between the two countries continue to grow, the expanded VoA network is expected to encourage more last-minute holidays, weekend getaways, and cultural explorations - strengthening the travel corridor between India and the UAE.
Three New Airports Added to India's VoA Network
The Visa-on-Arrival facility has now been extended to UAE nationals arriving at:
- Kochi
- Calicut
- Ahmedabad
These additions join the existing list of airports offering VoA, namely New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, bringing the total to nine designated international airports.
