Train journeys in India are part of everyday life for millions. Whether it is a short trip or an overnight ride, trains remain one of the most loved and reliable ways to travel across the country. Recently, a travel couple known as Chris and Flo, who have explored over 35 countries, gave their followers a peek into what first-class travel on an Indian train actually looks like.

The duo took the Jaipur to Agra route, a four-hour journey, on an air-conditioned first-class sleeper. The couple shared their experience by posting a video on Instagram. "It's a spacious cabin with two beds, a lovely mirror, and plenty of storage for bags. You get a window with a curtain. This is a coat rack," they said while showing the interiors of their cabin.

Their setup looked cosy - neat beds, a big glass window, and a comfortable space to stretch out. Throughout the journey, Chris and Flo made the most of their time, binge-watching Bollywood movies, gazing out of the window, and even spotting "a bunch of monkeys at the station."

All of this, they revealed, came at a price tag of just $28. However, they did mention that booking these trains as foreigners is not always easy. "Big shoutout to Sid, who we met on our Norway cruise, for literally getting us the tickets," they added. Watch the video here.
