Anna Hazare ends his vow of silence at Rajghat

Gandhian activist Anna Hazare ended his vow of silence early this morning at Rajghat in the Capital today. Mr Hazare reached Delhi on Thursday night from his village Ralegan Siddhi. He is expected to participate in the parliamentary panel meeting which is holding public hearings on the Lokpal Bill.

Veteran social worker Anna Hazare was on Saturday advised complete rest for at least a week following high blood pressure and back pain, his personal physician said here. The physician has also advised him to reconsider his decision of continuing with the vow of silence (maun-vrat).
