UTI AMC IPO: The public issue was subscribed 2.31 times; 2.32 times in retail category, 3.34 times in qualified institutional buyers category and 0.93 times among non-institutional investors.

The IPO comprised sale of 3,89,87,081 equity shares, or 30.75 per cent stake by existing shareholders, including State Bank of India, Life Insurance Corporation, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank and T Rowe Price International.

UTI Asset Management Company is the 10th company to have launched its initial public offer so far this year.

The IPO comprises sale of 30.75 per cent stake by existing shareholders, including State Bank of India, Life Insurance Corporation, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank and T Rowe Price International.

The issue will be open for three trading days, from September 29 to October 1, 2020, and the issue price for the offer has been fixed at Rs 552-554 a share.

SBI, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Bank of Baroda and Punjab National Bank each hold an 18.24 per cent stake in the company.

It would be the first initial public offering by a major asset management company (AMC) in India, though smaller rival UTI Mutual Fund's IPO plans have been in the works for a long time.
