Ukraine and the United States have agreed to launch joint weapons production in a step that will enable Kyiv to start producing air defence systems, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday as he wrapped up a visit to the U.S.

In the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the world's biggest plane - Ukraine's Antonov-225 - was destroyed in Russian strikes. Ukraine's state-owned Ukroboronprom said on Sunday that the plane was destroyed at the Antonov airport in Gostomel near Kyiv.

Reliance Defence has signed strategic partnership agreement with three Ukranian state- owned companies which will allow them to collaborate on a range of military products including transport aircraft, upgrade of armoured vehicles, maritime gas turbines and unmanned aerial vehicles.
