An Army jawan died after the string of a kite allegedly cut his throat while he was riding a bike on a flyover, police said.

Vice Chairman of Telangana State Planning Board B Vinod Kumar has urged Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to hand over defence lands in the Cantonment area at Secunderabad to the state government for construction of flyovers.

Taking the first step towards redesigning the entire road network in Hyderabad, the Telangana government today laid the foundation stone for multi-level flyovers at three places in the city.
