In a bid to make environment plastic-free and create awareness regarding its disposal, alumni of a school here through a unique initiative have started distributing food free of cost to the people who deposit 500 grams of plastic waste.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the scheduled public rally here on April 3 at a ground belonging to the Railways, after the West Bengal government denied permission for the venue earlier sought by the BJP.
