Maharashtra chief minister-designate and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan in Mumbai today.

Raj Thackeray with his wife Sharmila and daughter Urvashi warmly received Kamal Haasan. The reason behind the meeting is not known though MNS officials described it as "a courtesy call" and dismissed speculation the actor was planning to join the party

The condition of Sharmila, wife of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, was reported to be stable on Wednesday after she was seriously hurt following a dog bite, party sources said.

The MNS president, accompanied by wife Sharmila, visited his uncle's residence Matoshree in suburban Bandra today. This was Raj's fourth meeting with his uncle in four months.
