Earthquake affected Kolkata Metro services

Metro services in Kolkata were shut down for nearly 50 minutes as a precautionary measure on Wednesday, following the high intensity earthquake that hit the Sumatra coast, which was felt across the metropolis. The services were suspended from 2.42 PM to 3.30 PM, the Deputy General Manager (general) of Metro Railway, Pratyush Sinha told PTI.
