Pan-bank Account Linking

The Income Tax Department has said that linking of Aadhaar card with PAN card is mandatory for income tax assessees. The taxman has also announced March 31, 2019 as the due date for income tax assessees to link their Aadhaar (UID) with PAN.

Currently, the Income Tax Department issues refunds to assessees either in their bank account or through account payee cheques.
