A migrant worker, whose photo while crying on the roadside in Delhi amid the nation-wide lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic was shared widely , has been shifted to a hospital in Begusarai district of Bihar, where he was able to meet his wife and nine-year-old daughter from a distance.

Ghulam Rasool Wani made Jammu his home 15 years ago when he was attacked by the militants and forced to leave the Kashmir Valley. Since then, it has been a struggle for Mr Wani to register himself as a migrant. He has made several trips to the commissioner's office after the state government allowed fresh registration of migrants a few months ago.
