The Bombay High Court on Monday closed all arguments and reserved its verdict on the petition filed by actor Kangana Ranaut against the demolition of a part of her bungalow in Mumbai by the city civic body.

Actor Kangana Ranaut, whose office in Mumbai's posh Pali Hill area was partially demolished by the civic body, BMC, on Wednesday over alleged illegal construction, took to Twitter stating she will not renovate the building and instead work from its ruins as "a symbol of a woman's will that dared to rise in this world".

Actor Kangana Ranaut's petition regarding the demolition of her Pali Hill office by the Mumbai civic body has been adjourned by the Bombay High Court. The court had stopped the demolition yesterday in response to the actor's petition challenging the move of the civic body. A subsequent hearing was held today.

Designer Manish Malhotra, whose home in Mumbai's Pali Hills is adjacent to actor Kangana Ranaut's office, has also received a notice of demolition for illegal construction, sources said. The notice was issued the same day when officials of Brihanmumbai Corporation pasted a stop work notice on Kangana Ranaut's property on Monday.
