Pakistan Drones Found In Punjab

Yet another Pakistani drone was found in a broken condition by Border Security Force (BSF) troops on the outskirts of Rasoolpur village in Tarn Taran district on Thursday.

Two Pakistani drones were gunned down by the Border Security Force along the India-Pakistan border in Punjab, thus foiling the cross-border drugs smuggling bids in Amritsar and Tarn Taran districts, officials said on Tuesday.

Amid the rising tension between India and China in the east Ladakh area, Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatreya has written to Union Defence Minsiter Rajnath Singh requesting "adequate arrangements to tackle drones from China".

The centre has decided to hand over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) the probe related to the recovery of huge arms, ammunition and communication hardware in Punjab, suspected to have been delivered through drones from across the border, officials said on Friday.

Punjab Police's counter-intelligence unit found the drone after a terror accused, Akashdeep, took them to the location where the drone had gone down.
