A luxury apartment in London used by Nirav Modi and held in a trust can be sold for a value not less than GBP 5.25 million after a high court ruling in London on Wednesday.

Fraud-accused jeweller Nirav Modi's properties worth Rs 330 crore, including flats in Mumbai, London and UAE have been seized by the Enforcement Directorate under the Fugitive Economic Offenders Act. The probe agency had earlier seized properties worth Rs 2,348 crore of Nirav Modi.

Indian billionaire Nirav Modi was living in a flat just above his jewellery store in the posh Mayfair area of London while he was being hunted in India for an alleged money laundering case linked to over $2 billion, according to a media report.
