Arms dealer Abhishek Verma, Tytler's son slapped with cheating case

A Cyprus-based firm has registered a case of cheating with the Economic Offences Wing against Abhishek Verma, an accused in the Navy War Room leak case, and Siddharth Tytler, son of Congress leader Jagdish Tytler, and their associates for allegedly duping it of 1.1 million dollars on the pretext of setting up a mobile company, police said.

Businessman and naval war room leak case accused Abhishek Verma and his wife were on Saturday sent to seven days' CBI custody in a graft case by a special Delhi court. Mr Verma and his Romanian wife, Ancia Neascu, were arrested yesterday for allegedly receiving money from a Swiss arms firm for keeping it out of the Indian government's blacklist.
