After two days of chaos, normalcy seems to have returned to Mumbai's Central Railway line. The authorities have reportedly worked round the clock to restore the services. A three-member committee will investigate what caused the fire in the signalling cabin at the Kurla station on Tuesday night.

Two die after falling off from overcrowded train on Mumbai's Central Railway line

Two people died today in Mumbai while travelling in an overcrowded train on the Central Railway line. The men died after they collided against a signal pole on the side of the tracks and fell off the train near the suburban area of Mulund.

Local train services were affected in Mumbai today after a fire broke out at midnight at the Kurla and Vidyavihar signalling cabins. The fire was brought under control by fire brigade after half hour; however, some of the signalling equipment was damaged.
