A police informer who was charged Rs 300 for a bottle of mineral water at the Uma Palace Bar in Mulund was so enraged that he set the entire police machinery on a wild goose chase, by calling on their emergency numbers and passing on false information to them about the bar.

Husband burns pregnant wife after fight over bargirl

Both the victims, mother and unborn child, are battling for life at Sion Hospital. Momina Begum, 20, the mother, has suffered 90 per cent burns, and cops have notified her kin in Assam. Cops have registered a case of attempt to murder against the husband, Almin alias Sameer alias Saddam, who fled the spot after committing the crime.
