The Shyam Nagar Metro Station in Rajasthan's capital Jaipur is a first of its kind. From running the operations of the metro, to supervising customer and passengers at the station, to taking care of the upkeep and cleanliness at the station, everything is handled by women staff.

For women facing sexual harassment in Delhi Metro or railway stations of the city, help will soon be available at the spot from police desks run by women officers.
