Manipur Deadlock

Amid ongoing disruptions and deadlock in both Houses of Parliament over Manipur situation, Vice-President and Rajya Sabha Chairman, Jagdeep Dhankar said Parliament is a temple, where debate, discussion and dialogue have to take place.

As Parliament's Monsoon session remained deadlocked over ethnic violence in Manipur, Union minister Anurag Thakur on Sunday appealed to the opposition parties "with folded hands" to join the debate on the issue.
