The Supreme Court has allowed activist Madhu Kishwar, against whom a criminal defamation case has been filed by a Kashmir-based journalist, to participate in court proceedings in Srinagar through video-conferencing from a Delhi court

In the "press conference" by Ms. Madhu Kishwar on what she called the "Chidambaram-NDTV hawala scam" - Ms Kishwar didn't even try to provide any shred of evidence whatsoever for this totally non-existent and imaginary "scam".

NDTV has sent a legal notice to Madhu Kishwar, who describes herself as a social activist, for publishing and circulating a defamatory article based on the false and baseless allegations of income tax commissioner Srivastava.
