Amidst a raging row over national broadcaster Doordarshan airing the controversial Bollywood movie 'The Kerala Story', a Catholic diocese in Kerala has screened the film for teenagers as part of an "intensive training programme."

A police case has been filed against actor Nayanthara for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus, disrespecting Lord Ram and promoting 'love jihad' through the film 'Annapoorani'. The case was filed by a right-wing outfit in Madhya Pradesh.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday slammed the makers of 'The Kerala Story' film, saying they were taking up the Sangh Parivar propaganda of projecting the state as a centre of religious extremism by raising the issue of 'love jihad'.

A case was filed against the movie Kedarnath in a court in Uttar Pradesh's Jaunpur district.
