Longest Flyover

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin on Friday inaugurated the unidirectional Medavakkam flyover, the longest in Chennai, running for a distance of 2.03 kilometres, connecting Tambaram and Velachery.

Following the nod from the Union Transport and Highways Ministry, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has said it will complete construction of Gurugram's longest flyover on the busy Gurugram-Alwar National Highway 48 in one year.

Describing the cracks developed on West Bengal's longest flyover Sampriti, connecting Jinjira Bazar at Maheshtala to Batanagar in the southern suburbs of the city, as "not threatening", authorities on Thursday opened it to traffic, 26 hours after it was shut.
