Lieutenant Aparna Nair led the Indian Navy's march at the 68th Republic Day parade at Rajpath in Delhi today. Lt Nair led a contingent of 144 young sailors as the Navy Band played "Jai Bharti". All the marchers joined last year. Lieutenant Mandar Kulkarni and Lieutenant Vasu Yadav were Platoon Commanders for the march.

Navy recovers two bodies from chopper wreckage off Vizag coast

Almost four days after a Naval helicopter, with four crew members on board, crashed into the sea off the Vizag coast in Andhra Pradesh, the rescue teams today retrieved bodies of a Lieutenant Commander and a sailor from the wreckage that landed at the depth of 60 metres.
