The Kuki-Zo tribes in Manipur have asked their community to be vigilant between September 26 and 29, days after the Manipur Security Adviser confirmed in a press conference that some "900 Kuki militants" have entered Manipur from Myanmar.

Days after Meitei and Naga organisations reiterated their demand to implement the National Register of Citizens (NRC) in Manipur to curb infiltration from across the border, the Kuki Inpi on Saturday said they would not oppose the NRC.
