In a statement issued by the company in response to the International Air Transport Association (IATA) decision to suspend the airlines from its clearing house due to non-payment of dues, the airlines said that they were working with the tax authorities and that they expected the accounts to be un-attached soon.

Kingfisher Airlines cancelled 30 flights today, thus further increasing inconveniencing passengers who already faced a similar situation over the weekend. In a statement released today, the cash-strapped airline said that it was the attachment of its bank accounts by the Income Tax department that had affected its operations.
