A suspected member of the Khalistan Commando Force(KCF), allegedly involved in over 50 cases of terrorist activities, murder and dacoity, was arrested in the national capital, police said.

A Pakistan-based militant, hand picked by the ISI to head terror outfit 'Bhinderanwale Tiger Force of Khalistan', has been arrested on the outskirts of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said in Chandigarh on Thursday.

A 50-year-old Pakistani-Canadian has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for providing material support to the Sikh militant group Khalistan Commando Force, blamed for carrying out assassinations and bombings in India. Khalid Awan was convicted in 2006 by a US federal jury in Brooklyn for providing financial aid to Khalistan Commando Force.
