Karnataka Government Signs MoU With IBC to Set Up Rs. 8,000 Crore Recyclable Lithium-Ion Battery Plant

IBC and the government of Karnataka have signed a pact to set up a recyclable lithium-ion battery manufacturing plant. The project will involve an investment of Rs. 8,000 crore and IBC will establish the Li-ion battery manufacturing unit on a 100-acre parcel of land in the Bengaluru Rural district.

Apple Supplier Foxconn Proposes to Set Up Rs 8,800 Crore Manufacturing Plant in Karnataka

Foxconn, a major iPhone assembler for Apple, has proposed to set up a Rs 8,800 crore supplementary plant to that of the unit at Devanahalli Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) in Karnataka, the state's Large and Medium Industries Minister M B Patil said on Monday.
