Vigilance sleuths conducted a search at the property of former DMK Minister K P P Samy over charges that he had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Vigilance officials today conducted raids in the premises of former DMK minister N K K P Raja across Tamil Nadu in connection with a disproportionate assets case. The raids by officials of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption were in progress in Chennai and Erode districts, DVAC sources said.

Former DMK Minister K P P Samy was today arrested in connection with a case relating to the murder of a fisherman in 2006.
