Italian jailed for stealing tomatoes
A man in Italy has been sentenced to 20 months in jail for stealing two crates of tomatoes worth 100 euros ($125), AKI news agency reported. According to the Gazetta del Mezzogiorno newspaper, prosecutors in the southern city of Lecce asked for a prison term of four years for 30-year-old Daniele Carlino.
