Apple Led Smartphone Market in Holiday Quarter Amid Largest-Ever Decline in Smartphone Demand: IDC

Global smartphone shipments have declined by 18.3 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022 and an overall 11.3 percent decline YoY. According to a recent survey by IDC tracker, the fall in consumer demand as well as market uncertainties are the prime reasons for this fall.

Flipkart Launches Sell Back Programme to Purchase Used Smartphones

Flipkart has announced a new Sell Back programme that lets its customers sell back their used smartphones. In exchange, the e-commerce platform will give customers an e-voucher with the value of the smartphone. Flipkart has begun the programme with smartphones and will include other categories later this year.
