Police have arrested the husband and the father-in-law of a 24-year-old housewife from Kalyan in Thane district of Maharashtra for abetting her suicide, an official said on Monday.

Based on a purported suicide note found with a 38-year-old housewife who hanged herself two days ago at Dombivili in Thane district, police have registered a case against her husband and seven members of his family.
