Cap On Withdrawal: High Court To Hear Plea Seeking Recall Of Its Order

The Delhi High Court will today hear an application seeking recall of its earlier order dismissing a plea to remove the cap on daily withdrawal of the money which was deposited before the demonetisation decision.

Prisoners Move Gauhati Court On Depositing Demonetised Cash

The Gauhati High Court today gave time till December two to the Centre and the Assam Government to inform it about the process they would adopt to enable prisoners deposit demonetised currency notes in their bank accounts.

Delhi High Court today agreed to hear a plea against demonetisation, saying once the currency was invalidated then how could the government direct certain public utilities including hospitals and petrol pumps to accept old notes.
