Less than an hour after the families of 45-year-old Qasim, beaten to death by a mob, and Samiyuddin, severely injured, alleged an attempt by the Uttar Pradesh Police to cover up the incident - that took place allegedly over cow slaughter rumours in western's UP's Hapur district - a senior police officer has said there is no question of a cover up.
