North Korean leader Kim Jong Un publicly rode in a car given to him by Russian President Vladimir Putin in "clear proof" of the strengthening friendship between the two countries, state media reported on Saturday.

Exercise Sangam was first conducted in 1994 and is an important military and diplomatic initiative between India and the United States, reflective of the trust and friendship between them.

Russia today denied reports that their first ever joint military exercise with Pakistan would be partly held in the Gilgit-Baltistan area in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, on which India had expressed strong concerns.

China and Pakistan kicked off a joint anti-terrorism drill in northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region.The drill, code-named "Friendship-2010," is the third of its kind between the two countries.More than 200 people, including soldier participants and military spectators, attended the opening ceremony of the drill.
