Fortis Healthcare on Thursday said it has redeemed the outstanding $100 million foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, on the due date.

To facilitate long-term fund raising by infrastructure companies, industry body Assocham has demanded easing of end-use restrictions for issuing of external commercial borrowings (ECBs) and foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs).
