CBI gets custody of two accused in Emaar case

Andhra Pradesh High Court today granted to Central Bureau of Investiagtion the custody of G V Vijay Raghav, a top executive of Emaar and Sunil Reddy, an alleged close associate of Kadapa Member of Paliament Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, both arrested in connection with a controversial township project involving the realty firm.

APIIC deprived of Rs 43.5 crore in township project says CBI

The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation was deprieved of a legitimate revenue share of Rs 43.5 crore from the Integrated Township Project, developed jointly with Emaar Group at Gachibowli, while Emaar Properties and Emaar Motor and General Finance secured "undue pecuniary gain" of about Rs 167 crore.
