AIADMK chief Edappadi K Palaniswami on Sunday alleged that the ruling DMK is a family party and a corporate company with an aim to "loot" at the Centre by coming to power.

Hitting back at the BJP, which has been taking frequent potshots at his party over 'nepotism', ruling DMK leader and minister Udhayanidhi Stalin said he does belong to a family-run party as all of Tamil Nadu is Karunanidhi's family.

BJP chief JP Nadda on Sunday accused Tamil Nadu's ruling DMK of 'lacking wisdom' and alleged it does not have 'basic respect' for democracy and lashed out at the INDIA bloc as a combination of parties that stood for 'family' politics.
