Cow Science Exam

More than 5 lakh people in the country will take an online exam on the "holy cow" on Thursday.

The University Grants Commission has asked vice chancellors of varsities across the country to "encourage" students to take an online voluntary national-level exam to test their knowledge on ''gau vigyan'' (cow science).

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has asked educational institutes to encourage their students to participate in “Kamdhenu Gau-Vigyan Exam”, a national-level voluntary exam on 'gau vigyan' (cow science).

Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA), the government body set up for cow welfare has announced that it will hold a countrywide online examination on "gau vigyan" (cow science) on February 25. There will be no fee for the examination.

Students of primary, secondary and college levels and general public can take part in the 'Kamdhenu Gau-Vignyan Prachar-Prasar Examination' without any fee.
