The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has recommended fixing the minimum download speed with broadband connectivity at 2Mbps and asked the government to pay 50 percent of the monthly subscription charges of rural broadband users in the country.

Airtel Digital TV Revises NCF Charges in Line With TRAI’s Recent Amendments

Airtel Digital TV has updated its network capacity fee (NCF) as per the recent amendments made by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The operator, which was earlier charging an NCF of Rs. 130 (excluding taxes) for 100 SD channels, is now charging the same amount for 200 SD channels.
