A Motor Vehicle Claims Tribunal has awarded a total compensation of Rs 91.78 lakh to be shared by the daughter and parents of a young couple killed in a road accident in Chennai in 2009. Pratap Kumar and his wife Priyanka alias Elizabeth Mary were killed after their motorcycle was hit by a tipper lorry on November 20, 2009.
