Two people, including a teenage boy, were injured in an explosion along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Banihal town in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Saturday.

A PhD scholar is among six terrorists caught in connection with the explosion inside a car on Jammu-Srinagar highway last month, when a convoy of the CRPF was passing, the police said.

Security agencies are probing if the explosion inside a Hyundai Santro car in Jammu and Kashmir's Banihal on Saturday was a dry run for an attack similar to the terror attack in Pulwama in February. The attack is being seen as a security lapse by officials.
