Gucci has signed a multi-year deal with Yuga Labs, the parent company behind popular NFT series like Bored Apes Yacht Club (BAYC) and CryptoPunks among others. The aim of this partnership is to see how the metaverse can be the next destination for fashion and entertainment purposes.

The company announced its entry into the metaverse with a short video of three apes flying into the Earth from outer space and landing in the metaverse land.

Jeff Bezos-founded Blue Origin is set to take William Shatner of Star Trek fame to space and back safely on October 13. Though the launch was pushed back by a day due to anticipated winds in Texas, it isn't holding Shatner's fans back from gearing up for the liftoff.

Space Ape, founded in 2012, makes mobile games Samurai Siege, Rival Kingdoms and Transformers: Earth Wars, published by toymaker Hasbro's digital unit.

Astronaut Scott Kelly, currently onboard the International Space Station, is nearly done with his year in space mission. He's slated to return to Earth in the first week of March and because this is such a huge achievement (he's also the longest-living US astronaut to do so), Captain Kelly decided to orbit out with a bang.
